The Government today welcomed the opening up of China National Arts Fund applications from local arts institutions and practitioners for the first time.

The 14th Five-Year Plan promulgated in March included support for Hong Kong to develop into an arts and culture exchange hub of China and the rest of the world.
The Government said it will continue to assist the arts and culture sector to seize the opportunities offered by the country’s 14th Five-Year Plan.
Accepting Hong Kong applications for the arts fund is a testimony to the country’s care for the development of the city’s arts and culture sector and arts talents, providing them a wider scope of development, it added.
