Social distancing maintained

The Government today announced that it will maintain most of the social distancing measures currently in place for another 14 days starting tomorrow.   The existing catering business requirements and restrictions will be maintained during the specified period.   Except for bars or pubs which are subject to other requirements, all catering businesses must operate according to one operating mode among Types A, B, C and D Mode of Operation.   The existing requirements and restrictions applicable to bathhouses, party rooms, clubs or nightclubs, karaoke establishments and mahjong-tin kau premises will be maintained.   Meanwhile, the Government will refine the measures applicable to public skating rinks, cinemas, sports premises and swimming pools.   The current prohibition on group gatherings of more than four people in public places, as well as the mask-wearing requirement will continue.   The Government will gazette the directions and specifications under relevant regulations.
