Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Algernon Yau will join a delegation this afternoon to visit Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Dongguan, the Government announced. Organised by the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the aim of the trip is to help delegates keep abreast of the latest development of the Greater Bay Area for better integration into the nation’s overall development. The Department of Health today announced that from September 1, three of its student health service centres (SHSCs) will resume providing annual health assessments for Primary 1, Primary 2 and Secondary 1 students in the 2020-21 school year.
Such centres include Shek Wu Hui SHSC, Tai Po SHSC and Tsz Wan Shan Wu York Yu SHSC.
Additionally, services are provided at Chai Wan SHSC, Kowloon Bay SHSC, Kowloon City Lions Clubs SHSC, Lam Tin SHSC, Sha Tin SHSC, South Kwai Chung SHSC, Tuen Mun SHSC and Western SHSC. Parents will be notified of the specific health assessment arrangements.
The department stressed that it will continue to implement stringent infection control measures at the service units.
All clients with appointments and visitors must wear surgical masks and have their body temperature checked, it added.
