The centre is also investigating an overseas infection case involving a 52-year-old woman who tested negative in Hong Kong on September 8 and travelled to the UK on September 11 by flight CX255.
Her specimen collected in the UK on September 13 tested positive and she had been asymptomatic. She received two doses of the Sinovac vaccine in April and May on the Mainland.
While an epidemiological investigation and contact tracing of the case continues, as a prudent measure, Butterfly On Prat Boutique Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui where the patient resided during the incubation period will be included in a compulsory testing notice.
Specified people who had been at the relevant venue at specified periods must undergo testing by the specified date.
A total of 36 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, all of which are imported.
